Find the right market and understand the odds

On goal, odds are generally shown in decimal format. Decimal odds are easy to read — the number tells you your total return directly (including your original stake). For example: if Team A has decimal odds of 3.00, a ৳1,000 bet returns ৳3,000 — meaning ৳2,000 profit plus your original ৳1,000 stake back. In fractional format this is 2/1, and in American format it is +200.
On the other hand, favourites have lower odds. If Team B has odds of 1.25, a ৳1,000 bet returns ৳1,250 — a profit of only ৳250. In fractional format this team is shown as 1/4, and in American format as -400.
In cricket (limited-overs matches) there is generally no draw, so only two outcomes appear in the market. Example: Team A at 1.80 and Team B at 2.00 — if you bet ৳500 on Team B and Team B wins, you receive ৳1,000 back (৳500 profit). You can find more details on the goal cricket betting page.

Single bets and multi bets — how they work
Clicking on any market adds it to the bet slip. The bet slip is your list of bets — each selection, stake, and potential return is shown there.
Single bet: A bet on one event only. Simple and lower risk. If you stake ৳500 on Team B at odds of 2.00 and Team B wins, you receive ৳1,000 back.
Multi bet: Placing several selections together creates one combined set of larger odds. However, all selections must win — if one loses, the entire bet is lost. If three selections have decimal odds of 1.40, 1.70, and 1.90, the combined odds are 1.40 × 1.70 × 1.90 = 4.52 (approximately). So a ৳100 bet returns ৳452 if all win — but if even one loses, the entire ৳100 stake is gone.
After entering your stake, press the "Confirm Bet" or "Place Bet" button to submit the bet. It is a good idea to check all the details once before confirming.

View open and settled bet history
After placing a bet, go to the "Bet History" section of your goal account to see all your bets. It is divided into two parts:
- Open Bets: Bets that are still running or whose match has not yet finished. You can see the stake, odds, and potential return.
- Settled Bets: Bets whose result has been confirmed. Whether won or lost — everything is recorded. Winnings are added to your balance immediately.

BACK and LAY — how exchange betting works
Alongside standard betting, goal also offers a betting exchange. Two types of bets are possible here:
BACK bet: Betting that a team will win — the same as standard betting. If you BACK Team A with ৳500 at decimal odds of 2.50 and Team A wins, you receive ৳750 profit minus commission; if Team A does not win, you lose ৳500.
LAY bet: Betting that a team will not win — you act as the bookmaker. On a LAY with a ৳500 stake, if Team A does not win you receive ৳500 profit before commission; if Team A wins, you must pay out ৳750 (your liability).
